Beginning Monday, October 1, 2007, the deadline for clearing firms to submit their end of day position change submission file (PCS) will move from 8:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  As is currently practiced, the deadline will be extended if fast market conditions cause processing delays for firms or if a firm needs an extension because of system problems or unavoidable delays in finalizing end of day positions.  Also, as is the practice today, CME Clearing staff will closely monitor firm submissions each day as the deadline nears and make every effort to contact any firm that has not submitted PCS before the deadline is enforced.
